About the Author

Palaeontologist Darren Naish specializes in dinosaurs and is based at the University of Portsmouth. He has published many popular books on prehistoric animals, such as Great Dinosaur Discoveries (University of California Press), Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Life (DK) and Walking with Dinosaurs: The Evidence (BBC), the highly acclaimed accompaniment to the TV series Walking with Dinosaurs. He has also been involved with several children's books on prehistoric animals.
