Ciaran Murtagh is a writer and actor. His new book Genie in a Trap is out now.

He also writes TV shows and has recently been involved with scripting Shaun the Sheep, Dennis and Gnasher, The Slammer, The Legend of Dick and Dom, Scoop, Hotel Trubble, Casper's Scare School, The 4 o'clock Club and Diddy Movies.

He is an unapologetic fan of the music of a-ha and still sucks his thumb.
