It's Christmas Eve in the forest. Will Santa bring us presents? squeaks Mouse. Of course not! huffs Badger. Santa doesn't even we're here. But clever Bear has a plan. I wouldn't change a thing about this book. It's ridiculously sweet, has a lovely build up with just the right amount of angst, and then a superb happy ending. Fully recommended, it's one you won't mind reading every day in the run up to December 25th. About the Author

Steve Metzger is the award-winning author of more than sixty children's books, including Pluto Visits Earth! ( ABC Best Books for Children ), Detective Blue ( Librarians Choice selection), and The Ice Cream King. He lives in New York City with his wife and daughter. Alison Edgson was born in County Down in Northern Ireland and now lives near Newport in Wales. When she's not illustrating children's books, Alison spends most of her free time chasing her chickens out of the vegetable garden and brushing the cat, and loves walking her dogs in the countryside.
