Synopsis

The Adventures of Crombie There's More to Him Than Meets the Eye by Paul Smith

Escape to the fruit-filled, fun land of Orchard Vale. This is the wonderful home of Crombie, the magical little yellow school bus, who is quite a hero in these parts. Join him and meet all of his marvellous friends, such as sports cars Crafty Clara and Lady Jayne, in this beautifully illustrated book. Follow the exciting antics and adventures the gang get mixed up in. Crombie lives in Orchard Vale Bus Depot with his two best friends, Basil Brown (he can be a bit of an old moaner sometimes) and Dougie, the double-decker. He does the very important big city run. So, after filling up with his favourite fuel Fruity-smoothies , Crombie is up and away. Each and every morning, he picks up all the children from here and there, and whisks them off to school. Then, at the end of the day, he makes sure they all reach home again, all safe and sound. But there is another side to little Crombie. When there are problems or danger threatens, you can count on him to save the day. He's there in a flash, come rain or shine. Catch a ride with Crombie and enjoy the journey of a life time!
