Rosie's Story by Rosemary Martin

r lonely animal living nearby - Archie, a mouse which by some freak of nature has grown until he until he is almost the size of a rat. On account of his huge size and even bigger appetite, his horrified parents left him to fend for himself but when he tries to make friends with the other mice they run away in terror. The two must overcome many obstacles including Martha's mum, a rodent hater whose diabolical plans must be foiled before the tale draws to its happy conclusion. This charming and touching story is written for 2-5 year olds and is lavishly illustrated in quirky detail.

About the Author

Born in Ireland, Rosemary was educated at the Belfast College of Art and the Chelsea School of Art. Since graduating in illustration in 1961, she has lived in Spain and has written and illustrated four children's stories. Rosemary continues her passion for art by painting murals for kindergarten and children's watercolours and nameplates.
