Hector by Mark Barry

Hector by Mark Barry

Quirky, humorous debut from exciting new artist. This is a simple story with a gentle message about friendship and a cast of engaging characters Hector dreams of travelling to faraway places. He draws pictures of the amazing sandy beaches and blue skies in his dreams, with one special picture of the car that will take him there. When Hector's friends see his pictures, they decide to build him his car from any bits and bobs they can find. But when the time comes for Hector to leave in his new car, he realises that his adventure will be so much better with all his friends along for the ride. Sarah Aspinall's collaged artwork brings this adorable new character and his friends to life.
