Synopsis

Pandamonium at Peek Zoo by Kevin Waldron

Following in the muddy footsteps of Mr Peek's first adventure, which won the Bologna Ragazzi Opera Prima award 2009, comes complete Pandamonium at Peek Zoo! The zoo is holding an animal parade, but when the day arrives, nothing is ready. As Mr Peek races around preparing, he makes hilarious mistakes that leave a trail of chaos - including a baby panda on the loose heading for the lion's den! Thank goodness his son Jimmy's there to save the day and ensure the crowd sees the most fabulous animal parade ever - shown to great effect on a gatefold spread.

Kevin Waldron

Selected as a Booktrust Best New Illustrator of 2011.

Kevin Waldron loves to draw animal characters, so when his sketchbook became a paper zoo, he created Mr Peek to take care of them all. Mr Peek’s Zoo was soon rather cramped in the sketchbook so Kevin released them all in his first ever picture book. With an MA in illustration from Kingston University, Kevin now lives in London. He enjoys cycling to work everyday at the studio he shares with other illustrators. He was chosen as one of the Booktrust Best New Illlustrators of 2011.
