About the Author

Susie Lacome studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and has worked with numerous publishers, including Armadillo, Ladybird, Macmillan and Walker. She lives with her family in a tiny mediaeval fishing village on the east coast of Scotland where her studio overlooks the sea. She and her husband, Davey, own and run an art gallery, specialising in linocut and silkscreen printing.
