Maurice Pledger's wonderful nature trail books are back! With a refreshed look, a new generation of children can enjoy learning with the help of friendly characters that lead them on a natural-history-adventure. Reviews

'Non fiction for younger children is often hard to pitch but Beetles and Bugs is a good find . It can be enjoyed at a variety of levels, and has plenty of information for older children, too. Illustrations give a vibrant introduction to a mini-beast world of terrific variety. There are quizzes, too, and children will soon pick up the idea of the identification key. Record-breaking facts all add to the fun.'
