About the Author

Erica Briers is a pen-name of award-winning author Marcus Sedgwick. Following a 16-year career in children's publishing, Marcus became an author. His books have been shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and the Guardian Children's Book Prize. Stephanie Boey was born in Malaysia but moved to the UK to study Art and Design at St Martin's School of Art. After jobs in design studios and publishers, Stephanie decided to concentrate on freelance children's illustration.
