Laura and Sophie are best friends. They are even growing their own friendship tree! But one day, Laura's brother, Tommy, accidentally breaks the sapling. What will Sophie say? Will their friendship be ruined? Maybe Laura's special friend, the star, can help her out once more.

About the Author

Klaus Baumgart lives with his family in Berlin. The LAURA series has had multi-million sales worldwide, and has been broadcast on TV throughout Europe, including in the UK. Klaus Baumgart was the first German author/illustrator to be shortlisted for the Children's Book Award in 1999 for Laura's Star.
