About the Author

Steve Smallman has taken up writing his own stories after illustrating children's books for over 30 years. He also teaches illustration and mural-painting workshops in schools. When he's not working, Steve enjoys films, television, gardening and walking in the countryside. A Derbyshire lad born and bred, Sean studied at the Mansfield College of Art and then moved to Bristol to study Illustration. He still lives in Bristol with his girlfriend, with whom he shares an allotment, two goldfish, a love of cake and a dream that one day they'll get a dog and some chickens.
