Reviews

Eddie and Dog is a beautifully illustrated book which celebrates a true and beautiful friendship...It is one of the books that children will love to read over and over again. * Library Mice * ...this is more than a story about the value of pet ownership. It provides a gentle reminder to parents that our children are individuals who will make their own independent, and sometimes not altogether convenient, choices. * Little Wooden Horse * Alison Brown's debut for Little Tiger Press is brilliant, with superb artwork and a touching story of one dog's determination to find a loving home - and one little boy's quest to find the perfect friend. * Read It Daddy! * A story of friendship against the odds, full of transport (Eddie and Dog meet at an airport) and humour, and how to keep a pet when you live in a block of flats without a garden. Plus, dog on a moped, it's just too cute! * Child-Led Chaos * Alison Brown has created colourful, imaginative artworks to accompany a tight, humorous text. * Armadillo Magazine * A beautiful story on a loving friendship, Eddie and Dog is a great read for children who love adventure, and for dog-lovers too. A playful story, it's a perfect picture book for little explorers. * Baby London Magazine * The illustrations are simple and clear. The use of colour is very cleverly executed to show moods and the difference between night and day... Emerging young readers would delight in trying to read this book themselves. Little ones will love this interesting, informative and colourful book. * Inis Magazine * Little Tiger Press has again produced a delightful picture book. This story of a friendship between a child and animal is not unusual in the picture book world, but this one is told with humour and creativity. There is a lot of fun and movement in the illustrations. A thorougly enjoyable book. * The School Librarian * Eddie and the dog have a natural affinity with each another, as demonstrated through their love of imaginative play and their constant search for adventure, making their friendship feel genuine. The dog's loyalty to Eddie is particularly compelling... Children will cheer each time he returns to Eddie, making this book a good read-aloud for a friendship-themed story hour. * School Library Journal *
