About the Author

Ragnhild was born in Denmark, into a huge and very close family, but soon found her way across the North Sea to her adopted country, England, where she lives with her husband, cats and a large boisterous Old English Sheepdog. Gaby Hansen was born in South Africa where she attended the School of Art, Ballet, Drama and Music. She moved to London in 1998 and has illustrated several books for Little Tiger Press, including The Gift of Christmas, Ready for Bed and The Wish Cat, which was shortlisted for the Experian Big 3 Book Award 2003. Now living in the countryside in Sussex, she continues her love of art, drawing on the inspiration of the South Downs.
