After their umpteenth defeat at Lucky Luke's hands, the Dalton brothers get into a big argument that ends with the four of them splitting up. They make a deal: Whoever is first to get a million dollars will be the leader of the gang. Going their separate ways, trying various schemes, each spreads his own kind of mayhem, forcing poor Lucky Luke to do four times the work to keep up with their antics!

About the Author

Daniel Pennac is a renowned French writer whose most famous work is the Malaussene family saga, veritable ode to the Belleville neighbourhood. His playful, fluid style and whimsical characters have made him a favourite of the reading public. Tonino Benacquista is a noir novel specialist who has since branched out into other media, such as theatre, comics and cinema - where he earned the French Academy Award for best script for the movie Sur mes levres. Achde began drawing comics at age three and has never stopped. Creator of such series as CRS=detresse and Woker (with Widenlocher), he eventually fulfilled a childhood dream when he was asked to take over as artist for Lucky Luke.
