Synopsis

Lovable Dunce by Zidrou

A new year approaches for pitifully inept student Ducoboo, dunce extraordinaire and notorious troublemaker. A whole year of enduring Mr Latouche s punishments, of sharing the dunce cap with Skelly, the biology class skeleton, and of course of waging merciless war on his deskmate, top student Leonie, who refuses to let him copy her answers. But behind the dim-witted clown s facade, could Ducoboo be hiding a loyal heart?

About the Author

The irresistible rise of Ducoboo is due to the talents of Zidrou and Godi. A former teacher and current creator of songs and books for children, Zidrou is the scriptwriter of several graphic novels, notably Ducoboo, which he produces in collaboration with Godi. Godi published his first humorous comic strips in the Tintin magazine during the Seventies. Appearing in 1992, their naughty student Ducobu (Ducoboo) quickly became a children favorite.
