The Sunflower Sword by Mark Sperring

The little knight wants a sword to whoosh and swoosh in the air. His mother gives him a sunflower instead. The sunflower sword whooshes and swooshes very well. 'But,' says the little knight, 'it won't be any good for fighting dragons.' Or will it?

Mark Sperring studied at Bath Academy of Art and Camberwell College of Art before working as a printer and a bookseller, and later becoming a children's book author. Mark is the author of The Shape of My Heart, Snappy Birthday, Dino Mummy, Dino Baby, Dino Daddy, My Little Star, Four Silly Skeletons and I’ll Love You Always. He lives in Bristol.
