Battersea Dogs & Cats Home: Bruno's Story by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home

All Maisy wants is a puppy to call her own. It seems like every other person in her class has got a cute and cuddly pet - but Maisy is allergic to dogs and cats, and can't go near them without having a loud burst of sneezes! But clever Mum has an idea ...Apparently, not only are poodle puppies super-cute, but their fluffy fur is specially suited for people with allergies - making them the ideal pet for Maisy. And what better place to pick the perfect poodle than Battersea Dogs & Cats Home!

About the Author

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is a charity that aims never to turn away a dog or cat in need of our help. We reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when we can't do this, we care for them until new homes can be found for them; and we educate the public about responsible pet ownership. Every year the Home takes in around 12,000 dogs and cats. In addition to the site in south-west London, the Home also has two other centres based at Old Windsor, Berkshire, and Brands Hatch, Kent.
