Reviews

Vivid, exciting and imaginative illustrations complement a charming story celebrating difference, friendship, non-verbal communication and alternative views of the world. Booktrust Simple bright pictures and two friendly characters make this an appealing series for young ones. Parents in Touch One cannot help admiring the alien's perseverance and Wanda's endeavours not to hurt her best friend's feelings. Indeed the sight of Wanda and her alien friend always brings a smile to my face, as in my experience, it does to many a preschooler. -- Jillrbennett Red Riding Hub
