Vivid, exciting and imaginative illustrations complement a charming story celebrating difference, friendship, non-verbal communication and alternative views of the world. * Booktrust * Simple bright pictures and two friendly characters make this an appealing series for young ones. * Parents in Touch * One cannot help admiring the alien's perseverance and Wanda's endeavours not to hurt her best friend's feelings. Indeed the sight of Wanda and her alien friend always brings a smile to my face, as in my experience, it does to many a preschooler. -- Jillrbennett * Red Riding Hub *
