Mr Pip by Thereza Rowe

Mr Pip by Thereza Rowe

Mister Pip is ready for his dinner, and then wants to find a quiet place to sleep. But it's not as easy as it sounds. He settles into each of his favourite spots but between the VROOOM of the vacuum cleaner, the persistent RING-RING of the telephone, and the incessant COO COO of canoodling pigeons, he is disturbed and woken at every turn. Not even his favourite pot plant can offer Mister Pip the peace he needs. Will he ever find somewhere tranquil to rest his head?

I love finding new books to read. My mummy and me look at the new ones coming out. I have written reviews of some of them!

Jessica Cobbin – age 7

I love all the books they recommend & put up for me to review. I also love the fact that they give new authors the chance to share their boo

Daisy Pennock – age 15

You give me age appropriate ideas of books I can read and buy for the children and find out what other children their age think of them too.

Katie Lonsdale

At @HHSHaringey we love @lovereading4kids because our pupils can practice reviewing & get free upcoming books before anyone else!

Helen Swinyard – Heartlands High

It’s really exciting to read and review new books, thrilling to see my reviews online and I love finding the final published copies on sale.

Sam Harper – age 10

I have told all my friends, family & teachers to see for themselves just how great the site is. Without fail, they are hugely impressed.

Alexander Boxall – age 11

It gives me a chance to read types of books that I would not normally try, and it motivates me to read every night to finish it!

Alice Horncastle, age 14

I am so pleased to have signed my kids up as they are reading a much wider range of books and even choosing books out of their comfort zone.
