About the Author

Ann Evans

Coventry born writer, Ann Evans has been writing for more than 30 years. What began as a hobby when her three children were small, gradually became a full time career and a way of life.

She writes both fiction and non-fiction for children and adults, and worked for 13 years as a feature writer for the Coventry Telegraph.

Most of Ann's children's books are thriller, mystery and adventure books, one of which, The Beast recently won the raring2read category in the Coventry Inspiration Book Award.

She enjoys encouraging others to write creatively and is regularly invited into schools to run writing workshops and give talks on her favourite subject – writing!
