Big Bear, Little Bear by David Bedford

Little Bear longs to be as big and as fast as his mother. In the cold Arctic snow, Mother Bear shows the little polar bear cub what it's like to be grown up. At the end of the day Little Bear decides he isn't quite ready to be a big bear yet!

About the Author

David Bedford

David Bedford was born in Devon, in the south-west of England, in 1969.

After school, David went to university and became a scientist. His first job was as a NATO Scholar scientist in America, where he worked on discovering new antibiotics.

David has always loved to read and decided to start writing stories himself. After a while, he left his science job and began writing full time. He has now had over 15 books published, which have been translated into many languages around the world.
