George And The Dragon by Christopher Wormell

George And The Dragon by Christopher Wormell

Children can enjoy their favourite story time and time again with this brilliant picture book and CD set. Far, far away in the high, high mountains in a deep, deep valley in a dark, dark cave - there lived a mighty dragon. He was an awesome and frightening creature, terrorising whole armies, destroying castles, demolishing forests and kidnapping princesses. But this mighty dragon had a deep, dark secret...

Quirky and ebullient, this is excitingly plotted, vividly illustrated, and has a classy enduring feel Independent You'd think that Wormell had a real dragon in his studio Daily Telegraph Dramatic illustration and clever humour that infants will find irresistible TES Primary A wonderfully well-executed book and exhilarating to read out loud Carousel Would be an absolute joy to read to a small person ... with great illustrations, this is one of the best board books to have come my way Newbury Weekly News
