Libby has an idyllic life on an apple orchard and is close to her grandfather, a cider maker. When he dies suddenly in an accident, Libby is devastated. At boarding school Libby befriends Charlie and goes to stay with her family.

About the Author

Jacquie McRae (Tainui) was a finalist in the Pikihuia Awards for Maori Writers 2009 and was one of six authors selected in 2010 for Te Papa Tupu, a mentoring programme for Maori writers.
