ICT Projects for GCSE by Robert S. U. Heathcote

ICT Projects for GCSE by Robert S. U. Heathcote

This book is specifically designed to assist pupils in completing their GCSE coursework requirements and is a useful guide for students following the GCSE in Applied ICT (Double Award) for any of the examining boards. It explains, step-by-step, each of four different projects in Microsoft's Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. These are divided into the five stages of development: Identify, analyse, design, implement and evaluate, as specified in the 2003 Edexcel coursework guidelines. Some basic knowledge of the software is assumed, and instructions are given on how to use the advanced features for a Grade A project.

Melanie Fernando. North & West Essex Adult Community College April, 2003 The book continues to be an aid and a guide to me as well as my students who are also delighted with my recommended read - more recommended reference/ project bible! This is the first year I have taught IT to the GCSE specification and the book has been a lifesaver with regard to what is expected of the students and to how a good project should look. Mrs. A. C. Milton. Old Swinford Hospital, W.Mids June, 2002 I am always keen to receive the new Payne-Gallway books and resources that have given us help with courses before other publishers have even gone into print. Thank you for your continued excellent quality material. Mr. Kevin Mc Ilwee. De La Salle College, Jersey July 2002 I particularly was impressed with 'ICT Projects for GCSE
