The Whiz Quiz Book For Children and Grown-up Children by Cork West Branch of the NPC

The Whiz Quiz Book For Children and Grown-up Children by Cork West Branch of the NPC

If you were born on April 1 what would your star sign be? During which war did Anne Frank write her diary while living in the attic of a house in Amsterdam? For the answers check out The Whiz Quiz Book. This quiz book was specially compiled by members of the National Parents Council (NPC) to meet persistent demands from parents of primary-school children. It is a unique project in that teachers, children and parents worked together with the needs of Irish children in mind. Containing questions on a wide range of subjects - sport, music, history, etc. - this book is laid out in game format, i.e. each game consists of ten rounds of ten questions each. Each round has a good mix of questions so that a round can be a quiz on its own or a game can be a quiz on its own. With 1000 questions this book offers endless scope and variety for parents, teachers and children to use free time gainfully and enjoyably.
