Synopsis

C'est Francais! A Photocopiable French Scheme for Primary Schools by Kathy Williams

C'est Francais! is a flexible, photocopiable book and CD set aimed at non-specialist primary school teachers. It enables you to teach French successfully, even if your own knowledge is rusty. The book and CD provide everything you need to introduce French to primary pupils, including lesson plans, photocopiable worksheets, listening exercises and songs. Clearly laid out lesson plans provide learning objectives based on QCA's guidelines, lists of resources, activities, extension activities and key words. Over 60 photocopiable pupils sheets provide practice and reinforcement through simple fun exercises. The integral CD models vocabulary, phrases and sentences, and provides listening exercises linked to the photocopiable sheets. The course includes 8 traditional French songs, with illustrated song sheets and recordings on the CD.

I have told all my friends, family & teachers to see for themselves just how great the site is. Without fail, they are hugely impressed.

Alexander Boxall – age 11

It gives me a chance to read types of books that I would not normally try, and it motivates me to read every night to finish it!

Alice Horncastle, age 14

Lovereading is just a convenient way to find new books and hear others opinions on them.

Sarah Murray – age 15

I am so pleased to have signed my kids up as they are reading a much wider range of books and even choosing books out of their comfort zone.

Angela East

It is fantastic, you get to read lots of books and you always find something new and amazing in them.

Erica Motoc, age 7

It’s a community united by a passion for books and promoting the best there is in children’s literature.

Sam Bateman and family

I love Lovereading as it provides an honest opinion and showcases a range of fiction. Suited to both parents & kids alike, it’s a must-use.

Georgie Rowe – age 16

I love finding new books to read. My mummy and me look at the new ones coming out. I have written reviews of some of them!
