OpenOffice.Org Calc by Andrew Whyte

This book helps pupils at KS2 and KS3 to quickly and easily get to grips with Basic Writer for Star Office in a fun and motivating way. The Basic for Open Office series will help teachers and parents to give children a head start in word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. Suitable for whole class, group and individual teaching these books are divided into a series of lessons that gradually introduce the fundamentals. Each chapter is carefully designed to clearly show pupils how to perform various tasks that they can follow at their own pace with minimal teacher assistance. Technical vocabulary is gradually introduced to enable ease of communication. It is ideal for children aged 8-13 and a useful introduction to new ICT teachers.
