Buck Danny Night of the Serpent Night of the Serpent by Francis Bergese

An American pilot is shot down at the border between North and South Korea. While his colleagues cover up the whole incident so as to avoid a diplomatic disaster, Buck Danny is in charge of bringing the pilot back to the US. In the heart of the hostile jungle, a lethal game of hide-and-seek begins. Can Buck Danny find the American pilot before the North Koreans?

About the Author

Francis Bergese started reviving the Buck Danny comics at the end of the 1970s, after original illustrator Victor Hubinon died. Jean Charlier, who had co-created the series was impressed by cover illustrations Bergese had done for an aviation magazine and asked him to take over the drawing of the series. Scriptwriter Charlier died in 1989 and, from then on, Bergese wrote the Buck Danny scripts and drew the stories as well.
