Synopsis

What Lola Wants... Lola Gets by David Salariya

This picture book for children uses original torn-paper illustrations to tell the fun-filled story of the glamorous Lola the Leopard, who is incredibly vain, and her friend Monty the Meerkat, whose clumsy antics don't add up to the purrrrrfection Lola is looking for. The cover features soft flocking on Lola's fur, making it tactile object which will delight children. Curved corners mean that baby and toddlers can play safe when reading this book. Also, repetitive text throughout the book encourages the development of vocabulary.
