About the Author

Nina Filipek is an editor and writer of children's educational and preschool books. She started her career as a primary school teacher and has subsequently had over 20 years' experience in children's book publishing across an extensive range of topics for the UK's leading publishers. For the Milly&Flynn imprint from Meld Group, she has retold 12 favourite fairytales, with four more titles planned for the future. Her particular strength is in finding engaging ways of inspiring children to discover and read about the fascinating world we live in.
