Synopsis

A Tower of Giraffes by Anna Wright

A tower of giraffes, a drove of pigs, a romp of otters. The names of the animal groups portrayed here are as intriguing as the illustrations: a sophisticated yet-accessible, fun and very recognisable mix of pen and ink, watercolour and fabric collage. Anna Wright' s unusual pictures reveal the character behind the familiar and humorously shown animals.

About the Author

Anna Wright is an artist and illustrator. Her rural upbringing, in Dumfriesshire, southwest Scotland, introduced her to flora and fauna, which alongside her love of interiors, fabrics and wallpaper have shaped her work. Since exploring these influences at Edinburgh College of Art, Anna has grown her trademark style of colour and humour, from her studios in London and Edinburgh.
