Winter-Inspired Arts & Crafts by Marcelina Grabowska-Friday, Arthur Friday

This book offers children age five to ten 50 simple creative tasks on the theme of winter, Christmas and the winter carnival. The various projects are grouped by themes and will inspire children to the pleasures of creating with their own hands: Calendar Advent wreaths, Christmas ornaments and other objects to hang on the Christmas tree, gift ideas, decorations for the home and the classroom, greeting and winter holiday cards, carnival masks and disguises. Each of the 50 creative ideas is presented on two or three pages. Each stage of the creation process is very clearly described and illustrated with photos, drawings and, when necessary, templates. A full-blown picture always displays the final product. The completion of each creative idea becomes simple and easy, even for the little ones. The Creative Workshop series' fascinating early-learning activities stimulate the expression of creativity in children while improving their dexterity.
