Synopsis

Fright Night by Helena Harastova

This atmospherically and gorgeously illustrated picture book follows the anxious adventures of a boy at nighttime as he begins to see scary monsters everywhere he looks. Fortunately, with the help of his trusty torch, he's able to discover that his imagination is deceiving him and that the creatures are merely furniture and household pets. By pulling the tabs, readers can replace the pictures of shadow-dwelling monsters with illuminated everyday objects. This humorous story encourages children not to be afraid of the dark in their bedrooms at night!
