Curious Critters by David Fitzsimmons

Curious Critters by David Fitzsimmons

Hear all twenty-one curious critters talk to you in their own, distinctive voices. Incredible voiceover talent, from children to adults, including author and photographer David FitzSimmons, bring each character to life with fun, unique, and highly memorable voices. Delightful sound effects accompany the animals, providing fun sounds that add pizzazz to the narratives and contextualize the animals: water swishes with the goldfish; a harp glides up and down with the graceful flight of the black swallowtail; and an upright base descends in scale as the plucky red-eyed vireo fledgling tries to fly and then tumbles down. And sing along with Foster Brown's original CURIOUS CRITTERS theme song introduction to the book as well as his guitar and vocal performance for the spotted

Fun, factual, and fabulously photographed, Curious Critters demonstrates the important role of literature in helping young readers connect with nature. Richard Louv, author, Last Child in the Woods and The Nature Principle
