The Song of Memory by Jeanie Leung

White trees blossom and the sky glows with turquoise; memories float in a singing wind. This is the White Forest where Oowa and his friends live, abundant with treasures of life waiting to be discovered. They trade their pleasant memories for the things they need. But what Oowa definitely needs most is a smile. The ones he has last only a day, so he must collect a lot of good memories to support his life. Oowa never imagined a day would arrive when he runs out of good memories - but that day is finally here. How can he go on without a smile? A journey through the White Tunnel to all the joys and pains of memory is the only way Oowa might gather enough good memories to smile again. However, just as the journey begins, he discovers something unexpected about yesterday and tomorrow -

About the Author

JEANIE LEUNG loves art. She wants to touch people's hear t deeply with her drawings and paintings. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Leung's childhood dream was to become an artist or an astronaut. In spite of this, she later dropped art in secondary school and opted to study business in college. After graduating from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, she went on to work in the banking industry. In 2009, Leung quit her stable job and belatedly pursued her childhood dream of becoming an artist, though she has never received formal art training. As of now, Leung continues to work hard on her art and learning new things every day.
