About the Author

Kaltham Al Ghanem is Professor of sociology and Director of Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at Qatar University. She has worked in several areas of Sociological and Anthropological research in the Arabian Gulf and is the winner of many prizes for her research. She is also currently head of the committee for of the national prize for children's literature and member of the editorial management of Folk Proverbs magazine. This is her second book for children. Ibtihaj Al Harthi is an Omani writer and illustrator. This energetic mother of two divides her time between her family, her Masters of Fine Art program, and creating beautiful books. Ibtihaj lives in Oman.
