About the Author

Born in Lebanon and brought up in Saudi and in Canada, Abir Ballan returned to the American University of Beirut for her university studies. Her studies in public health and psychology gives a ring of authority to the ideas conveyed so engagingly through Abir's children's books. Her highly interactive communicative style and her experience with group dynamics honed during her years as a PR executive and as a training coordinator make her readings extremely entertaining events for children. Now a devoted full time mother and writer of children's books, Abir's books are charming and will give readers hours of reading pleasure with their engrossing storylines.
