Synopsis

Ana Wa Yadi Al Yusra Me and My Left Hand by Rida Abu Zeineddine

I feel very comfortable using my left hand. It makes me feel special, but it is not easy being left-handed in a right-handed world. Left-handers will identify with the little boy depicted in the book and right-handers will learn to appreciate how difficult it is to be different from the crowd.

About the Author

A software engineer by profession, Rida experienced the difficulties of being left-handed on a first hand basis and has developed into a multi-faceted individual in spite of the obstacles he faced. Ana Wadi Al Yusra is his first attempt at children's fiction and has an unmistakable ring of authenticity and steadfast perseverance that should be emulated by all children who feel they have any kind of shortcoming. An avid reader and an aficionado of sculpture and architecture, Rida loves adventure sports such as mountain climbing, hiking and para-gliding. He has also worked on a regular basis as a volunteer to teach children in refugee camps.
