A lonely creature called Something Else is excluded from everything because he looks and behaves differently. But when an even stranger creature tries to make friends with him, Something Else doesn't want to know - until he realises that the stranger is perhaps not so different after all.

KATHRYN CAVE has written numerous books for children including, Something Else, which was also illustrated by Chris Riddell. Her latest picture book for Frances Lincoln is Troll Wood. She lives in Hampstead, North London.
