Bright Star by Jenny Oldfield

A heart-warming story about the powerful connection between an isolated girl and a terrified wild pony. When 12-year-old Morgan is sent to her aunt's ranch in the Rockies for the summer, she has no idea that she will forge a bond that will last her lifetime. Morgan is more comfortable around horses than people, but then she meets Bright Star, a terrified wild mustang her aunt has rescued, and discovers that she is braver than she ever realised. Jenny Oldfield is a million selling English author. Her books include Definitely Daisy, Animal Alert, Home farm twins, the Half Moon Ranch series and many others. Her books are very high in quality and many people have been inspired to start reading because of her exciting stories.

Jenny was born and brought up in Harrogate, Yorkshire, she says that even as a child she wrote stories and made tiny books, complete with illustrations. She lives in Yorkshire and has two children, Kate and Eve.

She also writes under several pseudonyms, including Jasmine Oliver, Donna King, Kate Fielding,and Kate Pennington. She was also involved in the Animal Ark series, writing, along with several other authors, under the name Lucy Daniels.
