Synopsis

The Chicken With a Sore Tooth by Benedicte Guettier

In this delightful new picture storybook, a slightly overworked mummy hen is worried about her bad teeth. But how can she get to the dentist with so many chicks hatching? She decides to take her five children with her to the dentist: she has four chicks...and a hatched baby crocodile! To the dentist's surprise, the chickens teeth are fine...because they have no teeth. But baby crocodile has many cavities because he loves eating sweets. Although the dentist advises him to eat meat, such as chicken, baby crocodile loves his mummy and doesn't agree. Instead, he has another, rather shocking, idea in mind!
