Vicky Barker is an award-winning illustrator and art director whose humorous, energetic artwork and clear, clever layouts have been bringing children’s books to life for over 15 years.
A graduate of Liverpool John Moores University, Vicky spent time living between Liverpool, London and Los Angeles before finally settling in Worthing and has worked for several publishers over a broad range of books. She won the Blue Peter Book Award in 2018 for 'best book with facts' with her title Real-Life Mysteries and was shortlisted for the IPG’s Young Publisher of the year in 2020.
Vicky now works as b small publishing’s in-house art director and illustrates many books in their catalogue
