A must for all Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans and great family entertainment. At 2:00 PM Saturday, 21 September 2013 watch exclusive clips of author Jeff Kinney talking about the books, his involvement in the films and showing how he draws the characters, whilst host Alastair Watson brings the books to life with fun activities, including The Wimpy Kid Draw-Along and The Wimp Wars! Henley Festival 30 September – 6 October

Making the most of Henley-on-Thames’ status as the perfect place for a family trip, this year’s Henley Literary Festival has a great line-up of children’s events over the weekend of 5-6 October.

Saturday morning sees Gareth Edwards tell the story of a badger that is determined to eat The Very Disgusting Sandwich while its sing-along time when Jan Dobbins brings A Farmer’s Life for Me to the festival. On the Sunday Clara Vulliamy unveils Dixie O’Day, created with her mother Shirley Hughes, and Sharky & George, children’s party organisers to the stars, bring their interactive new book to Henley. All that plus plenty of events for the parents, including Giles Coren, India Knight and Melvyn Bragg.
