Perfect stocking filler. All the books in the Spiderwick Chronicles are truly magical and I now realize why they’ve been such a hit with children from 7-12. They’re fun and they’re easy to read and this one is a must for every Spiderwick fan as it gives you every detail you’ll ever need to look after your fairy. This particular title is also a terrific introduction to The Spiderwick Chronicles for all those children new to it. The illustrations are wonderfully detailed and the whole book is beautifully packaged and comes complete with a huge poster that has been cleverly folded to form the cover of the book. So, if you not sure what a child might like as a present this Christmas, we reckon this one is a really safe bet and we’re sure adults will enjoy reading it with children as well.
