The Day of the Monster Pigeons

Written by Steve Cole

The Day of the Monster Pigeons Synopsis

It's time for Freekham High's end of term play but something FOWL is afoot . . . a weird gang of pigeons who seem to have a grudge against the school. If they're not dive-bombing the building, they're leaving a trail of disgustingly devastating droppings wherever they go! Can Sam and Sara find out what's behind the feathered furore? Or will they be overcome by the power of the poo? This hilariously surreal story is perfect for readers who prefer their humour a little on the dark side . . .

About Steve Cole

Steve Cole spent a happy childhood being loud and aspiring to amuse. At school his teachers often despaired of him - one of them went so far as to ban him from her English lessons, which enhanced his reputation no end. Having grown up liking stories, he went to university to read more of them. A few years later he started writing them too. Steve has also worked as a researcher for radio and an editor of books and magazines, but is best-known as an author - and in particular for the hugely-successful Astrosaurs series.
