Elissa Watkin - Age 9

Leonora Bolt Secret Inventor is a really good story about a clever girl called Leonora who is a scientist who loves inventions.
The book was nice and easy to read and it had drawings that helped tell the story.
Leonora has a brilliant secret workshop that she uses to make her inventions and she has to use this to help her battle her uncle who is not very nice.
You will like this book if you like science and adventure.
I would give this book 10 out of 10.

Aidan Jones - Age 9

Wow this book was just so fun! Leonora Bolt is a child inventor who lives with her mean and scary uncle in a lighthouse on an island. She creates wonderful inventions but she's not allowed to leave the island. All that changes when a boy called Jack ends up on her island!
I loved Leonora's inventions, they were so fun and clever, I'd love to be an inventor like her even if it's a but dangerous! The book was really funny and cool and a bit silly. This was a really good story!

Mya - Age 10

This book is about Leonara Bolt, a young girl who really wants to be an inventor. She has an Uncle called Uncle Luther who looks after her but is really mean and always watching her too closely. One day a boy called Jack washes up on the Island and tells Leonara a horrible secret about her uncle, but she solves the secret and becomes and inventor. I think this book is for boys and girls who like adventure, about 8 +.
