My Mum Tracy Beaker Reader Reviews

My Mum Tracy Beaker

Super funny and true to life, a great read for children 7 -12.

I found this book very interesting as a sequel because I liked all of the other Tracy Beaker books I have read so far. I hope that more books about Jess might be written because Jess is very similar to me and has a nice and fun character. I like the unique storyline because not many other authors have written a sequel like this!

I would recommend this book to ages 10 and above. I think everyone would love this amazing story. It is exciting, funny, sad and enjoyable. There is one problem with it… You can’t put it down!

This book (by Jacqueline Wilson) is from Tracy Beaker’s daughter Jess’ point of view. It is all about the famous Tracy Beaker and her daughter Jess. Tracy and Jess live happily in their small flat together and that is all they need until… Tracy gets a boyfriend, Sean Godfrey a famous footballer. Jess doesn't like Sean but Tracy adores him and as if things couldn’t get worse Mum tells Jess they are leaving their flat to live in Sean’s mansion…

My favourite characters in this book are Tracy Beaker and Cam. I love Tracy because she is very funny at times but can also be a real spitfire and she is known for her tantrums! Cam is Tracy’s foster mum and she is very kind and caring, Jess loves to spend time with her.

My favourite part of the story is when Jess gets her lovable pet dog, Alfie. As soon as Jess saw Alfie she adored him and he changed her life, he gave Jess a friend when she was lonely.

I would rate this book a ⅘ it is one of the best books that Jacqueline Wilson has written and it gives you a good view of Tracy Beaker’s life as an adult especially being a Mother to her lovely daughter Jess.

I hope that Jaqueline Wilson continues to write about the life of Jess Beaker as she is now my favourite book character!

Are you a fan of Tracy Beaker and the Dumping Ground? Have you ever wondered what happened to her? Well she is back, with Jess, a daughter of her own and they are living life! I hope that Jaqueline Wilson continues to write about the life of Jess Beaker as she is now my favourite book character! Tracy is a single mum now, living in a council flat with her girl who loves dogs and more importantly, her mum Tracy. But when Tracy reveals she has a new boyfriend, Jess is far from pleased: despite the fact that he spoils her rotten when in fact all Jess wants is love from her Mum. But when a face from the past that was most unwelcome reappears back in her life, Tracy is filled with dread. With good reason...

I love Tracy Beaker and Jacqueline Wilson and would recommend this highly as a reader.

The title was appealing because I have read all the Tracy Beaker books but never thought Tracy would become a Mum. I just thought that if the author wrote any more then it would stay as her life in care.

The author is Jacqueline Wilson and I have always loved her books. I like her style of writing because she makes her books interesting and original.

The illustrator is Nick Sharratt and he illustrates in a unique way which makes the pictures stand out. As this is a chapter book it does not have lots of pictures but the covers always appeal to me.

This book along with most of Jacqueline's books are fictional (invented, not a real event that happened). I think that fictional books are better. Jacqueline does base her books on events that happen to lots of children and adults such as parents getting divorced.

I chose this book because I love Tracy Beaker and Jacqueline Wilson and would recommend this highly as a reader.
