This book wasn’t what I expected and it took the tale of the three sisters in a different, very interesting, direction. I really enjoyed the fairy tale and the way it was incorporated into the story. Reading on we encounter a shipwreck which hides pirates and an ancient tale repeats itself. Can Fliss, Betty and Willow save Charlie? Meanwhile, Willow is also on a mission to prove that her dad is innocent of a murder he didn’t commit. I thought this book was really good I enjoyed it because there was a lot of adventure which is one of the things I like in a book.

It is a fantastic book full of wonder and thrills around every corner. Every night when I got into my bed to read, I found myself returning to the book to find out what was going to happen next to the Widdershins sisters! Although I had not read the first two books, I soon picked up on the characters thoughts and views on the world. This is a perfect book for 10 – 11-year-olds like me.TEAM WIDDERSHINS FOREVER!
