The Great Brain Robbery Reader Reviews

The Great Brain Robbery

What I enjoyed most about this book were the twists and turns of the adventure and how you never know what will happen next.

The Great Brain Robbery is the next exciting adventure in the Train To Impossible Places series. The story returns with Suzy Smith, Fletch, Stonker and all her friends from the Impossible Postal service, on another rip-roaring adventure. Shortly after returning to the magical world of the Postal Express, disaster strikes Trollville, when a mysterious earthquake threatens the whole city. When Suzy overhears an evil plan that will lead Trollville into danger, Suzy and her friends embark on a race against time to save everything they care about. The story takes them through the magical lands of Cloud Forge, the Uncanny Valley and an underground cave, on a quest to find answers and to put a stop to a hooded villain. They will never suspect that an even bigger, more dangerous nemesis awaits them!

What I enjoyed most about this book were the twists and turns of the adventure and how you never know what will happen next. I really enjoyed how P.G. Bell continued the story from the previous book, but with a new, exciting concept. The storyline has lots of cliff hangers, which makes the book exciting and fun to read. The descriptions are detailed and the author makes you feel like you are there with the characters. My favourite character was Suzy, because she is the heroine of the story.

I would definitely recommend this book and especially to those who enjoy magical, exciting adventure stories, with a bit of suspense.

An exciting, gripping adventure full of wonderful characters.

This is a very exciting book full of adventure and each chapter ends making you want to read on to see what happens next! I enjoyed the different characters and it took me a while to remember who was who. I loved the way Suzy has some great friends in Trollville and they worked together to help repair the city after an earthquake. As in all good adventure stories, things don’t always go to plan!

I hadn’t read the previous book that this one followed on from, however, it didn’t really matter because it referred back to it, which made things clearer. But I think it probably would have helped to have read the Train To Impossible Places first.

I loved the amount of great vocabulary in this book, and the wonderful illustrations, which helped me visualise the story more. I would now like to buy the first book in the series and I will probably re-read this one again!

A great book full of adventures.

The Great Brain Robbery is an exciting book to read because it is about a girl called Suzy. She goes to magical troll land where everyone is a troll and works as a postie. I like how they made a track which goes to Trollville by the train to impossible places. There are some very detailed beautiful pictures that I loved going through in this book. My favourite character is Suzy who is a great hero and solves mysteries in the Trollville. I would like to recommend this book full of adventures to everyone.
